Defendant Elder Law and Disability Rights Center’s motion to compel plaintiff Hernan Pina Obando to provide responses to Form Interrogatories, and to pay sanctions, is GRANTED. (Code Civ. Proc., § 2030.290 [authorizing motions].) Plaintiff Hernan Pina Obando is ordered to provide full, complete, and verified responses, without objections, to defendant Elder Law and Disability Rights Center’s Form Interrogatories, Set One, within 20 days of notice.
Defendants William Wise, Brooke Weitzman, and Elder Law and Disability Rights Center’s motion to compel plaintiff Hernan Pina Obando to provide responses to Special Interrogatories, and to pay sanctions, is GRANTED. (Code Civ. Proc., § 2030.290 [authorizing motions].) Plaintiff Hernan Pina Obando is ordered to provide full, complete, and verified responses, without objections, to defendants’ Special Interrogatories, Set One, within 20 days of notice.
The court finds that plaintiff’s failure to respond to the discovery lacked substantial justification, and imposes monetary sanctions against plaintiff Hernan Pina Obando in the amount of $700.00 per motion, a total of $1,400.00. The court considering that neither party filed oppositions and there was no reply filed. Sanctions are payable to counsel for moving party within 30 days.
Moving parties shall give notice.
