Defendant Washington Prime Group, L.P.’s (WPG) motion for leave to file cross-complaint is GRANTED. (See Code Civ. Proc., §§ 426.50, 428.50, subd. (c).)

WPG shall serve and separately file the proposed cross-complaint (attached as exhibit A to the declaration of its counsel) within 10 days of the date of this hearing. The cross-complaint must be filed as a separate document to ensure it is properly indexed in the record.

The trial date of 6/9/23 is CONTINUED to March 4, 2024, in this department, to accommodate the cross-complaint, which is alleged in part against two new parties to the action. All discovery and other trial-related deadlines shall run from the new trial date.
