Motion for Final Approval of Class Action and PAGA Settlement 

Having reviewed the moving papers filed in connection with the Motion for Final Approval, the Court will GRANT the Motion subject to the following:

1.    Plaintiffs’ enhancement: $10,000 to Plaintiff Ivan Gomez;

2.    Attorney fees: $500,000;

3.    Attorney costs: $11,225.62;

4.    Class Administrator fees: $7,842.75;

5.    PAGA penalties $80,000 ($60,000 to LWDA and $20,000 to Aggrieved Employees).

Plaintiffs are to file a revised [Proposed] Final Approval Order and Judgment within 5 court days consistent with the above and with the following revisions:

       1. Identify the settlement by ROA number.

2. Propose a date for the Final Accounting, which the Court hears on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. An administrator’s declaration regarding status shall be filed 10 calendar days in advance of that hearing.

Plaintiffs are ordered to give notice, including to the LWDA, and file a proof of service within 5 court days. Additionally, file proof of service of the final moving papers on the LWDA.
