The Motion for Approval of PAGA Settlement is granted. The Status Conference is vacated.

The court will award Plaintiff’s counsel’s actual costs of $7,914.23 rather than the $8,000 indicated in the Proposed Order. The court will also add the definitions of Released Claims and Released Parties into Paragraph 7 of the Proposed Order to provide clarity.

The court will sign the Proposed Judgment and Order with the above modifications as well as some additional non-substantive modifications.

A Final Accounting is set for July 12, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Department CX101. Plaintiff shall submit a final report including the amounts paid to aggrieved employees, the other amounts distributed under the settlement, and the amounts tendered to the California State Controller’s Office Unclaimed Property Fund on or before June 23, 2023.

No appearance is necessary at the August 5, 2022 hearing.
