Motion for Final Approval

The Court GRANTS the Motion for Final Approval of the Settlement and approves the disbursements set forth in the Proposed Order and Judgment (ROA 111) with one modification. The service award for Plaintiff Saul Elizarraras shall be reduced from the requested $10,000 to $7,000. In making this award, the Court has considered the factors set forth in Golba v. Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc. (2015) 238 Cal.App.4th 1251 and Clark v. Am. Residential Servs. LLC (2009) 175 Cal.App.4th 785.      

A Final Accounting is set for June 30, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. in Department CX101.

Plaintiff shall submit a revised Proposed Order and Judgment reflecting the above, including the Final Accounting date, and a redline showing all changes, for the Court’s signature within five calendar days. Upon the Court’s entry of the Order and Judgment, Plaintiff must submit it to the LWDA within ten calendar days and file proof of service.

The Court does not require any physical or remote appearance at the hearing scheduled for 08-19-2022.
