Judge: Glenn R. Salter, Case: 22-1240496, Date: 2022-08-18 Tentative Ruling
TO BE HEARD CONCURRENTLY WITH NO. 19
Appointment of a Receiver
In its Minute Order of June 23, 2022, the court indicated it was inclined to appoint a receiver for certain limited purposes, but not for sale of the property.
In the court’s Minute Order of July 14, 2022, it ordered the parties to meet and confer to discuss who should be appointed as the receiver and whether an appraiser should be appointed.
Since issuance of these two minute orders, neither party has filed any document regarding the appointment of a receiver or of an appraiser. If no proposed receiver is provided to the court at the hearing, the motion for appointment of a receiver will be denied without prejudice.
Case Management Conference
As the court indicated on July 14, 2022, it intends to set a 3- to 4-day court trial for some time in the April to May 2023 time frame. Counsel should be prepared to select a date for trial at the hearing. If the parties do not appear, trial will be set for May 15, 2023, at 9 am. Parties are ORDERED to comply with Local Rule of Court, rule 317.
