TENTATIVE RULING

Plaintiff Rocio Garcia’s Appeal Final Judgment and Petition to Court to Transfer the Case to the Supreme Court is DENIED.

Garcia asks that this Court transfer the case to the United States Supreme Court.  Garcia objects to the fact that her case has not been heard by a jury of her peers.

Garcia was not wrongfully deprived of a jury trial.  UCLA successfully moved for summary judgment.  Garcia failed to raise a triable issue of fact requiring jury trial.  As such, Garcia’s case was resolved on summary judgment and no trial was required.

The Court does not have authority to transfer this case to the United States Supreme Court.  Garcia does not cite to any authority that would allow this Court to transfer her case to the United States Supreme Court, nor does she cite or argue any basis to set aside the order granting summary judgment.
