Defendant Rambod Alirezael, DDS, PC dba Brentwood Endontics Motion to Compel Plaintiff Stacy Young's Response to Demand for Specific Statement of Damages and Sanctions in the amount of $1,197.50 is GRANTED. The Motion was filed on 11-25-24 and no opposition has been filed.  Defendant served its Demand for Specific Statement of Damages on Plaintiff via email on 3-7-24, with the statutory deadline of 4-8-24 to serve a response. (Foxwell Decl., ¶ 3.) Defendant declares that several extensions were requested by Plaintiff and granted by Defendant. (Foxwell Decl., ¶¶ 4–8.) Defendant communicated to Plaintiff that they would allow a response by 10-31-24 to accommodate Plaintiff's forthcoming attorney substitution, however, by 11-24-24 no response was served nor was an attorney substitution filed. (Foxwell Decl., ¶¶ 10–14.) Plaintiff is ordered to serve a response to Defendant's Demand for Specific Statement of Damages and pay sanctions in the amount of $1,197.50 (3.5 hrs @ $325.00/hr + $60 filing fee) pursuant to CCP §§ 425.11(b) and 2023.030(a).
