4-18-24 Hooshivar Motion to compel Deposition of PMQ

Plaintiff Farhad Hoovishar’s Motion to Compel Deposition of PMQ with production of documents and sanctions in the amount of $2,975.00 as to Defendant General Motors, LLC is GRANTED.  Plaintiff shows good cause for motion to compel deposition of PMQ, has properly met and conferred, and provided a separate statement pursuant to CCP § 2025.450. (See Kaufman Decl., ¶¶ 7, 10, 13; Ex. 3, 6, 9.)  Plaintiff served multiple notices of Deposition for Defendant's PMQ on 11-28-23, 12-28-23, and 1-25-24, in which Defendant replied with boilerplate objections. (Kaufman Decl., ¶¶ 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12; Ex. 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8.) Defendant is ordered to provide its PMQ for the deposition with production of documents  within 30 days of the hearing, and to pay sanctions in the amount of $2,975.00 (5 hrs @ $595/hr.) within 60 days.  Plaintiff is to submit the proposed order
