Plaintiff Jane VR Doe's Motion to Compel Deposition of Defendant Jose Amilcar Bolanos and sanctions in the amount of $4,006.05 as to Defendant Jose Amilcar Bolanos. Plaintiff filed the motion on 11-18-24. No opposition has been filed. Plaintiff declares that between 5-30-24 and 11-22-24 Plaintiff served Defendant with multiple deposition notices, with Defendant failing to appear. (Stefanic Decl., ¶¶ 4–16, Ex. A–L.) Defendant did not serve objections or indicate an inability to appear. Plaintiff requests sanctions in the amount of $4,006.05 ($1,347.95 for certificate of non-appearance + $1,464.90 for 4-27-24 Depo + 2.833 hrs @ $400 + $60 in filing fees). (See Stefanic Decl., ¶¶ 17–18; Ex. M.)

The Court orders Defendant to make himself reasonably available to appear for deposition on or before 4-30-25 and pay sanctions in the amount of $4,006.05 pursuant to CCP § 2025.450.
