BACKGROUND

This is an employment action. On June 4, 2024, Plaintiff filed the operative complaint (“Complaint”) alleging causes of action for:             (1) failure to pay wages (Labor Code §§ 201, 1194); (2) failure to provide meal and rest periods (Labor Code §§226.7, 512); (3) failure to provide itemized wage and hour statements (Labor Code §§226, et seq.); (4) waiting time penalties (Labor Code §§201-203); (5) failure to permit inspection of personnel and payroll records (Labor Code §1198.5); (6) Private Attorney General Act (Labor Code §2699, et seq); and (7) unfair competition (Bus. & Prof. Code §17200 et seq.).
