CASE TITLE: CASE TYPE:

Civil - Unlimited  Other Real Property Motion Hearing (Civil) 37-2023-00025767-CU-OR-CTL CHAKRA VS ZBS LAW LLP [IMAGED] CAUSAL DOCUMENT/DATE FILED:

Defendant's Motion for Attorney's Fees is granted.

'[A] party who partially prevails on an anti-SLAPP motion must generally be considered a prevailing party unless the results of the motion were so insignificant that the party did not achieve any practical benefit from bringing the motion.' (Mann v. Quality Old Time Services, Inc. (2006) 139 Cal. App. 4th 328, 340.) Here, the Court finds that Defendant's success on the motion was not insignificant, and that attorney's fees are warranted. Furthermore, the Court finds that the requested amount of $13,650 is reasonable.

The minute order is the order of the Court.
