Motion to Advance Motion for Summary Judgment or Continue Trial filed by Defendant, the Bail Boys Inc.

The motion to advance the motion for summary judgment is denied, but the motion to continue trial is granted.

Trial is set for March 10, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 30.

FSC is set for February 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Department 30.

All fact discovery and related motion cutoff dates remain with the February 24, 2023 trial date. All expert discovery and related motion cutoff dates are to comport with the March 10, 2023 trial date. 

To the extent that the parties wish to participate in mediation, they are ordered to do so prior to the FSC.

The parties should not anticipate any further continuances. This is a firm trial date and the parties should be prepared to proceed. 

Moving party is ordered to provide notice and to file proof of service of such notice within five court days after the date of this order.
