Motion to Continue Trial
DECISION
Good cause having been shown, the motion is granted.
The current trial and FSC dates are advanced and vacated.
Trial is set for August 17, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 30.
FSC is set for August 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Department 30.
Motion cutoff date and discovery cutoff date remain based on the April 14, 2023 trial date, EXCEPT that the cutoff dates for the following shall comport with the new trial date of August 17, 2023:
(1) expert discovery;
(2) any discovery motions concerning expert discovery; and
(3) motions in limine.
Additionally, the MSJ motion reserved for hearing on 07/14/2023 shall be fully briefed and heard on that day.
To the extent that the parties wish to participate in mediation, they are ordered to do so prior to the Final Status Conference.
The parties should not anticipate any further trial continuances. The 08/17/2023 is a firm trial date and the parties should be prepared and ready to proceed with trial on said date.
