The action of Vision360 Consulting LLC vs. CloudCompass, LLC et al. (Case No. 2023-00022743) is deemed to be related and will be reassigned to this department. California Rules of Court, Rule 3.300.

As alleged, the claims for interference with economic advantage, misappropriation of trade secrets, etc.

were precipitated by the conflict between Qassimyar and Aatif that is at the heart of this action.

Therefore, they involve similar parties and events. It makes sense, for the sake of judicial efficiency, for a single judge to adjudicate both actions. However, this is not a finding that the two actions should be consolidated, either partially or completely.

Regarding the concurrent request for a continuance of the trial date and related dates, a 90-day continuance of the trial and related dates will be ordered. California Rules of Court, Rule 3.1332.

However, the expert exchange dates will not be changed. The new dates are as follows: Trial: 11 / 17 / 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in D 73; Trial Readiness Conference: 11 / 3 / 2023 at 10:45 a.m. in D 73; and Motions and Discovery are to be completed by 10 / 27 / 2023.

This action is relatively 'young,' as the action was initiated in December 2022. The continuance is reasonably necessary given the recent substitution of Plaintiff's counsel.
