The Motion (ROA # 36) of Defendant ANHEUSER-BUSCH, LLC ('Defendant' or 'A - B') for an order compelling Plaintiff GUILLERMO PRECIADO INIGUEZ ('Plaintiff') to provide amended responses to A - B's Form Interrogatories (Set One), and for monetary sanctions against Plaintiff's attorneys, is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART.

Plaintiff's reliance on and reference to 'Code of Civil Procedure § 2030.230 and designating all of the medical records included in Exhibit 3 as the item(s) from which the information sought can be obtained' is not, in and of itself, unreasonable; however, this response deprives Defendant of the specificity of the information requested of Plaintiff. True, the information may be reflected on Exh. '3' in some iteration; however, the information may also be subject to interpretation. It is not the burden of Defendant, as the propounding party, to risk misinterpreting Exh. '3' while obtaining this information in discovery.

Plaintiff's objections are OVERRULED. Plaintiff is directed to serve further responses, without objections, within twenty (20) days of the hearing of this Motion.

Defendant's request for sanctions is DENIED. Plaintiff has not acted without substantial justification.

Plaintiff's counter request for sanctions is DENIED. Defendant has not acted without substantial justification.
