1. The unopposed Motion (ROA # 21) of Plaintiff TIKYLA JOHNSON ('Plaintiff') for an order compelling Defendant P & G DISTRIBUTING LLC ('Defendant') to serve verified responses without objections to Plaintiff's Special Interrogatories (Set One), and for monetary sanctions, is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART.

The Court has read and considered Plaintiff's Complaint - a one cause of action for violation of PAGA - and Defendant's Answer - ROA # 7. Though the Court has reservations about the scope of Plaintiff's discovery, Defendant has chosen not to serve responses and to file no opposition to this Motion.

Defendant is directed to serve Code-compliant responses, without objections, within twenty (20) days of the hearing of this Motion.

Defendant's failure to serve responses was without substantial justification. Attorney Mashiri's hourly rate is reasonable. The services, as limited, are reasonable and necessary. Defendant is directed to pay total sanctions, including the filing fee, of $1,710.
