The unopposed Motion (ROA # 25) of Plaintiff Oceanside Associates, a California General Partnership ('Plaintiff') tor an order in that the truth of the matters and the genuineness of documents specified in Set One of Requests For Admissions served on Defendant Lakhvinder Chahal ('Defendant') on May 12, 2023 be admitted and for monetary sanctions, is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART.

The Court has read and considered Plaintiff's reply - ROA # 33 - and appreciates the reply being filed out of an abundance of precaution; however, the opposition purported filed by Defendant was rejected by the Court. See ROA # 32. Therefore, the Court treats this Motion as unopposed.

The truth of the matters and the genuineness of documents specified in Set One of Requests For Admissions served on Defendant on May 12, 2023 are deemed admitted.

Defendant's failure to serve responses was without substantial justification. However, Plaintiff has failed to carry its burden to show the hourly rate of service and the services rendered by Attorney Munak to enable the Court to make the requisite findings for the amount of sanctions.
