The Motion (ROA # 21) of Plaintiff DENISE D GARCIA-LOPEZ ('Plaintiff') for an order to strike the objections of Defendant AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO., INC. ('Defendant' or 'Honda') and compel further responses to Plaintiff's Request for Production of Documents (RFP's'), Set One, Nos. 1 - 3, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 17 - 23, 28, 29, 32, 33, 36, 37, 40, 41, 46, 47, 49, 50, 63 - 68, 74, 79, 80, 83, 84, 89, 91, 92, 111 - 114 and 125 - 130, is GRANTED IN PART and DENIED IN PART.

The Court has read and considered Plaintiff's Complaint (ROA # 1) which alleges, in part: '6. On or about May 4, 2017, Plaintiff entered into a warranty contract with Defendant, regarding a 2017 Honda Pilot vehicle identification number 5FNYF6H09HB002898 ('Vehicle') which was manufactured and/or distributed by Defendant.' The Court has read and considered Defendant's Answer (ROA # 9) which denies Plaintiff's allegations and asserts thirty-three (33) affirmative defenses.

Defendant's objections are, except as noted, SUSTAINED. Defendant's objections to nos. 1, 2, 7, 9, 14, 17, 125 and 126 are OVERRULED.

Defendant is directed to serve Code-compliant responses within twenty (20) days of the hearing of this Motion and produce the documents within twenty-five (25) days of the hearing of this Motion.

Plaintiff's request for sanctions is DENIED. Defendant's responses were not served without substantial justification.
