Motion for Discovery Protective Orders 

Tentative Ruling:  Defendant, YOKO MARRON seeks a Protective Order as follows:

(1) that the Special Interrogatories (Set No. One), Nos. 36-109 from Plaintiff, HARGOPAL CHAWLA (“Plaintiff”), need not be answered;

(2) Requests for Admission (Set No. One) Requests Nos. 35 through 50, from Plaintiff need not be answered; and

(3) Plaintiff and his attorneys of record, Mitch Rosensweig of Schwimer | Weinstein LLP, jointly and severally pay a monetary sanction to Defense counsel in the amount of $1,635.00.

Defendant’s Motion is granted in its entirety. Plaintiff has not sustained the burden to justify the Special Irogs and Request for Admissions in excess of thirty-five. See for example, Code of Civil Procedure section `2030.040(b).

Sanctions to be paid within 30 days.
