Motion to Be Relieved as Counsel of Record

Ruling: Off Calendar – no hearing will be held.  The unopposed motion of Sofia Yassin (“Moving Attorney”), to be relieved as counsel of record for Defendant James Paul was properly served on the client, and Moving Attorney has stated a basis for permissive withdrawal under Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 1.16. 

However, the Court notes there is no proof of service showing that the motion has been served on all parties who have appeared in the matter. 

Accordingly, the motion will be GRANTED on the condition that the moving attorney provide a proof of service, by 12-12-2022, showing service was properly made on all parties who have appeared in the case.

Moving Attorney shall give notice.
