DEFAULT JUDGMENT

            After review, the Court has identified the following deficiency with Plaintiff’s default judgment packet:

-          Plaintiff has still not adequately shown Sarven Venk’s individual liability. In its supplemental declaration, the only justification provided was:

But SARVEN VENK should be personally liable as a judgement-debtor for the value of the gold, as of the date of delivery to him as represented by the checks, less the $ 15,000.00 collected from ARKENAY VENK, plus interest on the unpaid balance.

This does not set forth a legal basis for Venk’s individual liability. The check was issued by Venk Manufacturing. Plaintiff has not submitted any evidence to show that Sarven Venk personally guaranteed the amount, or that he is an alter ego with Venk Manufacturing.
