            Plaintiff’s motion to compel Defendant’s response to Requests for Production is GRANTED. Responses are due within 15 days.

 

Plaintiff’s motion to compel Defendant’s response to Form Interrogatories is GRANTED. Responses are due within 15 days.

 

            Defendant is sanctioned, jointly and severally with counsel, $700 per motion. Sanctions payments are due within 30 days of entry of this order. 

 

            On 11/22/2024, Plaintiff 1530 Date Street, LLC (Plaintiff) filed suit against Ace Diversion, Inc. (Defendant) alleging unlawful detainer.

 

            On 2/6/2025, Plaintiff moved to compel Defendant to respond to its Requests for Production (RFPs) and its Form Interrogatories.

 

            The motions are unopposed.

 

Discussion

 

            On 12/2/24025, Plaintiff served Defendant with RFPs and Form Interrogatories (collectively, Subject Discovery). To date, no responses have been provided and Defendant did not oppose this motion.

 

            Given Defendant has not provided any substantial justification for this failure, sanctions are warranted.

 

            Based on the foregoing, Plaintiff’s motion to compel Defendant’s response to Requests for Production is granted. Plaintiff’s motion to compel Defendant’s response to Form Interrogatories is granted. Defendant is sanctioned, jointly and severally with counsel, $700 per motion. Sanctions payments are due within 30 days of entry of this order.
