             Defendant Transdev Services, Inc. (“Transdev”) moves pursuant to Civil Code section 3295(d) to bifurcate the claim for punitive damages asserted by Plaintiff Shanna Charles (“Plaintiff”).  Plaintiff has not filed an opposition.

 

            The Court GRANTS Transdev’s motion. The issue of whether Transdev is liable to Plaintiff for punitive damages will be tried separate from the other issues concerning liability and compensatory damages.

 

            Transdev shall give notice.
