The Court GRANTS IN PART the motions to compel of plaintiff Erik R. Peterson (“Plaintiff”) in accordance with the rulings set forth below.  Defendant General Motors LLC (“Defendant”) shall provide further responses and produce responsive documents within 30 days in accordance with the rulings below:

 

Request for Production 16, 17, 18, 20, 21 :  Defendant will produce a full and complete response and all responsive documents as to documents in its possession, custody or control.  However, Defendant shall not need to search for or produce internal emails.

 

Request for Production 19:  Defendant will produce a full and complete response and responsive documents limited to complaints in California.  Moreover, while Defendant must produce emails from customers that embody the complaints, Defendant need not produce internal emails of Defendant responsive to this request.
