            Plaintiff Silva C. Guadalupe (“Plaintiff”) moves to compel further responses to certain of Plaintiff’s Request for Production of Documents, Set One.  Defendant General Motors, Inc. (“Defendant”) opposes the request.

 

            The Court grants the motion  as to the following requests for production.  Defendant shall provide a further response and responsive documents within 30 days with respect to the following requests for production:

 

No. 16:  Defendant shall produce any formal investigation or analysis responsive to this request.  Defendant shall not have to search for all internal emails responsive to this request.

 

No. 17:  Defendant shall produce any complaints from customers within California responsive to this request.  Defendant shall not have to produce other responsive documents.

 

No. 18:  Defendant shall produce any complaints from customers within California responsive to this request.  Defendant shall not have to produce other responsive documents.

 

No. 20:  Defendant shall produce documents sufficient to reflect a formal decision to modify the structure of the cooling system in the design of the vehicle, if any.  Defendant shall not have to produce other responsive documents.

 

No. 21:  Defendant shall produce documents sufficient to reflect a formal decision to modify the structure of the engine in the design of the vehicle, if any.  Defendant shall not have to produce other responsive documents.

 

No. 22:  Defendant shall produce any complaints from customers within California responsive to this request or any portions of a database reflecting such complaints.  Defendant shall not have to produce other responsive documents.

 

No. 32:  Defendants shall produce all formal reports or recommendations responsive to this request.  Defendant shall not have to produce any other response documents.

 

            Except as so ordered, the Court denies the motion.  The other requests are either vague and ambiguous or unduly burdensome.
