ANALYSIS:  

 

I.                Background

 

Plaintiff Christy Adair filed this action on February 7, 2018.  Defendant City of Los Angeles (erroneously sued herein as “Los Angeles Police Department”) filed an answer on August 30, 2019.  This case currently has no trial date so Plaintiff has filed this Motion, requessting that the Court set a trial date.  No opposition has been filed. 

 

Plaintiff did not specify a preferred trial date.  Accordingly, trial is set for June 6, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 25, Spring Street Courthouse. 

 

The parties are to comply with the Standing Order for Department 25, including filing joint witness and exhibit lists, a joint statement of the case, joint proposed jury instructions and a joint proposed verdict form at least ten (10) days before trial.

 

II.              Conclusion & Order

           

For the foregoing reasons, Plaintiff Adair’s Motion for Order to Set Trial is hereby GRANTED.  Trial is set for June 6, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 25, Spring Street Courthouse.
