This case has settled. The Court entered a stipulated judgment in plaintiff's favor on 2/9/21. A Notice of Entry of Judgment was served on 12/29/21. Plaintiff's counsel now seeks to withdraw as attorney of record. The Court GRANTS the request and will sign the order submitted at ROA 413. The order of withdrawal is only effective upon the service of the signed order upon the client at the last known address. The Court notes that plaintiff's counsel is the counsel of record for Plaintiffs CA Residential Opportunity Fund LP et al. and must serve that entity by name. Once served, counsel is to provide a Proof of Service directly to the clerk in Department 66.

The Court also notes the CA Residential Opportunity Fund LP is a limited partnership that must be represented by counsel for any proceedings, including collection on the judgment. The Court notes that there are judgment debtor examination proceedings pending on September 13, 2024. Counsel must appear on behalf of CA Residential Opportunity Fund LP to conduct those examinations. Otherwise, the Court will take the judgment debtor examinations off calendar. Current counsel is to inform the client that an attorney must appear on behalf of CA Residential Opportunity Fund LP.
