Respondent Ohio Security Insurance Company's motion for protective order is DENIED.

Respondent seeks a protective order to prevent the deposition of Ernie Espiritu, Senior Claims Resolution Specialist for Respondent, and the insurance adjuster assigned to Claimant Jose Lopez's claim. In opposition Claimant submits evidence that Espiritu verified Respondent's discovery responses.

The court finds this evidence sufficient to establish the relevance of Espiritu's testimony in this case. The court is not persuaded by any of the arguments Respondent raises. To the extent any of Claimant's questions of Espiritu seek attorney-client privileged information or information protected by the attorney work-product doctrine, Respondent may raise such objections at the time of deposition. Based on the foregoing, the court finds Respondent fails to establish good cause for issuance of a protective order preventing the deposition of Espiritu.

Respondent's request for attorney's fees is DENIED.

If this tentative ruling is confirmed the Minute Order will be the final order of the court and the parties shall not submit any further order on this motion.
