          Claimant Ryan Mikkelson (“Claimant”), a minor, by and through their parent and guardian ad litem, Yvette Mikkelson (“Petitioner”), agrees to release their claims against Defendant Kevin Guo (“Defendant”) for injuries Claimant sustained in a motor vehicle collision with Defendant.  Under the proposed settlement, Defendant agrees to pay $15,000 to Claimant.

          The Court reviewed the Petition on March 23, 2023.  The petition could not be approved at that time because Item 8b on the proposed order (Form MC-351) did not indicate how the balance of the settlement was to be disbursed.  The Court continued the hearing for the petition to allow Petitioner to correct the deficiency noted in the Court’s order. 

Petitioner has filed a revised Form MC-351 consistent with the Court’s March 23, 2023 order.

Accordingly, the Petition is GRANTED.
