MOTIONS TO COMPEL FURTHER RESPONSES TO DISCOVERY

MOVING PARTY:               Plaintiff Charles Wilder

RESPONDING PARTY:     Defendant General Motors, LLC

This is a Song-Beverly action.  On September 27, 2023, Plaintiff, Charles Wilder, filed these motions to compel Defendant, General Motors, LLC, to provide further responses to Plaintiff’s Special Interrogatories, Set One, Nos. 14, 40-55 and 53, Request for Production of Documents, Set One, Nos. 1, 3, 9, 31, 33, and 37-78.

The parties have not participated in an Informal Discovery Conference (IDC) prior to the filing of this motion.  Accordingly, the court will continue the hearing for Plaintiff’s motion to March 28, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. to allow the parties to participate in an IDC.  The parties are to review the information for conducting IDC’s in Dept. 31 located on the LA Superior Court website for Dept. 31.  The parties are to contact the judicial assistant to obtain a copy of the court’s tentative Song- Beverly discovery order.  Thereafter the parties are to contact the judicial assistant to schedule an IDC date and time.
