Case No.: 20STCV30482
Matter: Motion to Strike
Moving Party: Plaintiff A Plus Fabric, Inc.
Responding Party: Unopposed
Notice: OK
Ruling: The Motion to Strike is granted.

Plaintiff A Plus Fabric, Inc. seeks to strike Defendant Sportswear Group, LLC’s Answer because it has been unrepresented for months. Alternatively, Plaintiff requests that the Court set an OSC re: Striking the Answer.
The Court’s docket shows that Defendant Sportswear Group, LLC does not have counsel. Defendant has been unrepresented since August 2022. An LLC cannot appear in propria persona. (See Himmel v. City Council of Burlingame (1959) 169 Cal.App.2d 97, 100.) Therefore, the Motion to Strike is granted. The Court enters a default for Defendant.
Moving party to give notice.
If counsel do not submit on the tentative, they are strongly encouraged to appear by LACourtConnect rather than in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
