On December 13, 2022, the Court entered an order as follows: “with respect to the real property located at 6096, Rodgerton Drive, Los Angeles, California 90068 (“REAL PROPERTY”), Defendants RODGERTON DRIVE, LLC, a California corporation, and LEVON CHESMEDJIAN, an individual, shall comply with the Notice of Violation issued on February 18, 2021, by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, forthwith, and otherwise bring the REAL PROPERTY into compliance with the Los Angeles Municipal Code to the satisfaction of the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety not later than December 31, 2022.”
Plaintiffs Thomas J. Escott, individually and as Trustee of the Thomas J. Escott Family Trust of 1996 dated February 9, 1996, and Paula Escott now seek an OSC re: Contempt against Defendants Rodgerton Drive, LLC and Chesmedjian for failing to comply with the Court’s December 13, 2022, order.
Because there is no opposition, the Court will set an OSC re: contempt for failure to comply with the Court’s December 13, 2022, order. A date will be discussed at the Motion hearing.
Plaintiffs request $4,762.50 in sanctions, but appropriate sanctions will be discussed as necessary in connection with the contempt hearing. (Code Civ. Proc. § 1218(a).)
