Plaintiff Shahla Melamed seeks to compel further responses to her requests for production, sets one and two, nos. 1-5 and 7-45 against Defendants Gabrijel Krstanovic and Seaside Construction Management Company, LLC. Plaintiff contends that “Defendants have failed to provide documents that they agreed to provide in responses to Plaintiffs' Request for Production of Documents (C.C.P. § 2031.320); and that with regard to one of the responses (No. 13), objections are improper . . . .”
Because there is no opposition, the Motion is granted. (Cal. Rules of Court, Rule 8.54(c); Sexton v. Superior Court (1997) 58 Cal.App.4th 1403, 1410.) Further responses and documents are to be provided within twenty days.
Plaintiff seeks sanctions in the amount of $1,860, but the Court awards $1,260 (3 hours at $400 per hour, plus $60 in costs), which is to be due jointly and severally by Defendants Gabrijel Krstanovic and Seaside Construction Management Company, LLC.
