This is an action pertaining to a vehicle accident involving a LADWP employee.

Plaintiff Elias Feierabend-Peters now seeks to compel a privilege log with respect to Defendant LADWP’s objections as to requests for production, set one, nos. 20-48.

Defendant responded in relevant part that the requests “seek[ ] the disclosure of confidential personnel documents and information. Employee personnel files are not subject to disclosure pursuant to Government Code Section 6254 (b)(c).  This request also seeks the disclosure of confidential 3rd party information.”

No privilege log is required.  The responses are not otherwise at issue—this is not a motion to compel further responses accompanied by a separate statement.  The Court does note, however, that many of the requests are impermissibly overbroad.

The Motion is denied.

Moving party to give notice.
