Motion to Compel Plaintiff’s Response to Supplemental Interrogatories

Defendant Angels Baseball, LP’s motion to compel Plaintiff Melody Stone to provide responses to Defendant’s Supplemental Interrogatories propounded on Plaintiff is GRANTED.

Defendant served Plaintiff with Supplemental Interrogatories, on 10/31/2022. (Esten Decl., ¶ 4, Ex. A.) Having received no response to the Supplemental Interrogatories, on 12/21/2022, Defendant’s counsel sent Plaintiff’s counsel a meet and confer letter requesting that Plaintiff provide responses within 10 days. (Esten Decl., ¶ 5, Ex. B.) On 1/6/2023, Plaintiff’s counsel assured defense counsel responses would be forthcoming shortly. (Esten Decl., ¶ 5.) However, to date, Defendant has not received any response. (Esten Decl., ¶ 6; Supp. Decl., ¶ 8.)

Plaintiff is ORDERED to provide verified responses, without objection, to Defendant’s Supplemental Interrogatories, within 30 days.  Plaintiff is also ORDERED to pay Defendant $1020 in sanctions within 30 days.  (Code Civ. Proc., § 2030.290.)

Defendant to give notice.

Motion to Compel Plaintiff’s Response to Supplemental Request for Production of Documents

Defendant Angels Baseball, LP’s motion to compel Plaintiff Melody Stone to provide responses to Defendant’s Supplemental Request for Production of Documents propounded on Plaintiff is GRANTED.

Defendant served Plaintiff with Supplemental Request for Production of Documents, on 10/31/2022. (Esten Decl., ¶ 4, Ex. A.) Having received no response to the Supplemental Request for Production of Documents, on 12/21/2022, Defendant’s counsel sent Plaintiff’s counsel a meet and confer letter requesting that Plaintiff provide responses within 10 days. Plaintiff is ORDERED to provide verified responses, without objection, to Defendant’s Supplemental Request for Production of Documents, and to produce responsive documents, within 30 days.  Plaintiff is further ORDERED to pay Defendant $1020 in sanctions within 30 days.  (Code Civ. Proc., § 2031.300.)
