Defendants Singod Investors VI, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Singod”), PNP One, LLC, a California limited liability corporation (“PNP”) and First Choice Bank (“FCB”) (Singod, PNP and FCB are collectively referred to herein as “Defendants”) will and hereby does move the Court to deem this matter complex.

As defined in CRC 3.400(a), a “complex case” is “an action that requires exceptional judicial management to avoid placing unnecessary burdens on the court or the litigants and to expedite the case, keep costs reasonable, and promote effective decision making by the court, the parties, and the counsel.”

Here, Defendants have not established this case to be complex. Even if the related cases are ultimately consolidated, there is no showing the cases would warrant complex designation at this time.

Therefore, the Motion is denied without prejudice.
