Motion for Assignment Order
The unopposed motion Judgment Creditor Aria Resort & Casino, LLC for an order for assignment of rights against Judgment Debtor Ashley Liu is granted.
Judgment Creditor has presented evidence that a judgment was rendered in its favor against Judgment Debtor Ashley Liu. (Orzel Decl. ¶ 2, ROA 4.) Also, Judgment Creditor has presented evidence that $2,483,001.02 of the Judgment against Judgment Debtor is currently due and owing and remains unpaid, including post-judgment interest and costs incurred. (Orzel Decl. ¶ 2, Ex. 1)
The judgment debtor has not met its burden to establish an exemption. (Code Civ. Proc., § 708.550(a).) No claim of exemption has been filed. The motion is not opposed.
As a result, the Court finds that Judgment Creditor is entitled to an assignment order pursuant to Code Civ. Proc., § 708.510 assigning to it Judgment Debtor Ashley Liu’s rights to payments due, or to become due from A-May Investment, LLC and Meiao Investment, LP in the collective amount of $2,483,001.02.
