The Petition for Relief from Financial Obligation brought by Petitioner Michael A. Arguelles is granted.

The Court finds Petitioner has met the showing required by Military and Veterans Code section 409.3. According to the supporting declaration, (ROA 19), Petitioner’s ability to comply with the terms of his mortgage has been affected by his most recent period of military service. (Mil. & Vet. Code § 409.3, subd. (d)). Petitioner shall be granted relief in the form of “a deferment of the payments due on the obligation for a period of time equal to the period of military service,” which , in this case, is one year. (Mil. & Vet. Code § 409.3, subd. (d)(1)).

Petitioner shall give notice of the ruling.
