Motion for Approval for Transfer of Structured Settlement Payment Rights Pursuant to California Insurance Code §10134 ET SEQ.

The petition filed by Bentzen Financial, LLC, regarding the approval of transfer of structured settlement payment rights of transferor, Uriel Calleja, is granted.

After consideration of the pleadings and files in this matter, including the supplemental exhibits and declaration filed on 07/22/23, the Court finds that the subject transfer is fair, reasonable and in the transferor’s best interest. In making this finding, the Court has considered, among other factors, the transferor’s financial situation, ability to understand the transfer, that the settlement payments were not intended to pay for transferor’s future living expenses or any medical expenses, and transferor’s intended use of the funds. Further, Petitioner has proffered evidence of compliance with all statutory requirements, including notice to all interested parties and provision of requisite disclosures.

Petitioner shall give notice of the ruling.
