Petitioner City of Santa Ana
Motion to Appoint Receiver
The hearing on the City of Santa Ana’s Petition for the Appointment of a Receiver and for Other Relief is continued to 10/26/2023 at 2:00 PM in Department C12.
The Court is inclined to appoint a receiver over the subject property. However, the Petitioner must address the following deficiencies before the petition can be granted.
[1] File a proof of service reflecting notice of the continued hearing date on the Owner. (Code Civ. Proc. § 1005; Cal. R. Ct. Rule Cal. R. Ct. Rule 3.1110.)
[2] File and serve the evidence supporting the petition, (i.e., the declaration from the City’s Code Enforcement Officer).
[3] Propose a receiver and file and serve evidence of the proposed receiver’s qualifications. (Health & Saf. Code, § 17980.7, subd. (c)(1)-(2).)
The supplemental documents shall be filed and served by 9/29/2023.
The City shall give notice of the ruling.
