Petition For Approval For Transfer of Payment Rights

The Petition for Approval for Transfer of Structured Settlement Payment Rights by and between Tkeyah Williams (“Payee”) and J.G. Wentworth Originations, LLC (“Petitioner”) is granted.

Payee intends to transfer the following payment in exchange for $29,500:

1)   $50,000 due on 3/8/2027.

After consideration of the pleadings and files in this matter, the court finds that the subject transfer is fair and reasonable and in the payee’s best interest. In making this finding, the Court has considered, among other factors, the payee’s employment status, need and planned usage of the funds, ability to understand the transfer, and that the settlement payments were not intended to pay for payee’s future living or medical expenses. (Ins. Code § 10139.5(a)-(d).) Further, Petitioner has substantially complied with all statutory requirements, including notice and the requisite disclosures.
