Motion for Approval of Transfer of Structured Settlement Payment Rights Pursuant to California Insurance Code §10134 ET SEQ.

The Petition for Approval for Transfer of Structured Settlement Payment Rights by and between T.S. and petitioner RMC Closing, LLC(the “Petition”) is granted.

After consideration of the pleadings and files in this matter, including the supplemental declarations and real estate agreement, the court finds that the subject transfer is fair and reasonable and in the payee’s best interest. In making this finding, the Court has considered, among other factors, the payee’s employment status, need and planned usage of the funds, lack of support obligations, ability to understand the transfer, and that the settlement payments were not intended to pay for payee’s future living or medical expenses. (Ins. Code § 10139.5(a)-(d).) Further, Petitioner has complied with all statutory requirements, including notice and the requisite disclosures.

Petitioner shall give notice.
