Petition for Approval for Transfer of Payment Rights

The petition filed by Peachtree Settlement Funding, LLC, regarding the approval of transfer of structured settlement payment rights, of real party-in-interest, Ronell Lockett, is granted.

After consideration of the pleadings and files in this matter, the Court finds that the subject transfer is fair, reasonable and in the seller’s best interest. In making this finding, the Court has considered, among other factors, the seller’s financial situation, ability to understand the transfer, that the settlement payments were not intended to pay for payee’s future living expenses or any medical expenses, and seller’s intended use of the funds. Further, Petitioner has complied with all statutory requirements, including notice to all interested parties and provision of requisite disclosures.

Petitioner shall give notice of the ruling.
