On February 2, the Court issued a minute order stating that, due to an appeal, the case was stayed until March 7, 2024. The hearing for Defendant’s Demurrer and Termination Sanctions were continued to March 7, 2024. On March 7, 2024, the Court held a Status Conference regarding the status of Plaintiff's appeal and noted that the matter is still on appeal, continuing the hearings for Demurrer, Terminating sanction, and OSC re appeal to March 26, 2024. During the hearing, Defendant’s counsel, Brian Dewey, represented to the Court that Plaintiff’s appeal was dismissed. The Court invited Dewey to submit a written declaration to the Court before March 26, 2024, but nothing was submitted.

The Court will hear from the parties regarding the status of the appeal.
