MOTION TO CONTINUE TRIAL

Hearing Date: 8/23/24

CASE NO./NAME: 22STCV28082 IDALIA SANCHEZ vs CARL'S JR. RESTAURANTS, LLC, et al.

Moving Party: Defendant Friendly Franchisees

Responding Party: Unopposed

Notice: Sufficient

Ruling: MOTION TO CONTINUE TRIAL IS GRANTED

On August 29, 2022, Plaintiff filed the present case. Defendant filed its answer on October 19, 2023. The trial date is currently set for November 19, 2024. The parties, through their respective attorneys of record, have executed a written stipulation to continue the trial date to August 18, 2025, with all related trial dates adjusted accordingly. Considering the age of the case, the recent filing of Defendant's answer, the fact that the parties had less than a year to conduct discovery, and the parties' stipulation, the Court finds good cause to continue trial. The present motion is hereby granted.

The new Trial Date is set for August 18, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The Final Status Conference is continued to August 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. All case-related deadlines will follow the new trial date.
