The Court excuses the personal appearance of Claimant and the guardian ad litem. Counsel may appear by telephone or video conference call. 

Under the proposed settlement, a gross amount of $12,000 will be distributed as follows: $1,775 for medical expenses, $3,000 for attorneys' fees, and $560.17 for costs. The net balance of $6,664.83 will be awarded to Claimant Alan Chay Gonzalez.

The Court has reviewed the Petition and determined that all required information has been provided and all necessary attachments have been filed. The Court finds the settlement and attorney’s fees fair and reasonable. Based on the foregoing, the petition filed on December 13, 2024, is GRANTED.
