Plaintiffs Vanessa Leal and Raul Gomez move for leave to amend their Complaint to substitute Laura Corona as successor in interest for Defendant Guadalupe Corona (Defendant) due to Defendant’s passing.

Background

This action for partition of real property was filed by Plaintiffs Vanessa Leal and Raul Gomez on October 4, 2021. On January 6, 2023, Defendant/Cross Complainant Guadalupe Maria Corona filed the subject Second Amended Cross-Complaint. Currently, the Court is hearing a Motion to Deem Laura Corona as Successor in Interest to Defendant on December 7, 2023. Thus, this Motion shall be continued to that hearing so that the Court may first determine whether Laura Corona is the appropriate successor in interest.
