This is a breach of contract matter. Defendant Ford Motor Company moves ex parte for an Order advancing the hearing date on its Motion to Compel Plaintiff’s Deposition and Request for Monetary Sanctions; and Motion to Compel Plaintiff’s Further Responses to Special Interrogatories, Set Two and Request for Monetary Sanctions.  Defendant contends that it will be harmed by not having its discovery motions heard prior to the motion for summary judgment cutoff date, which are on or around October 17, 2024. Currently, the discovery motions are set to be heard on December 3, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.  The ex parte application is DENIED.  The Court is unable to accommodate Defendant’s request.  Defendant is not foreclosed from seeking to continue the January 30, 2025 trial date.  Defendant to give notice.
