This lemon law action was filed on January 19, 2023. Trial is currently scheduled to begin on March 20, 2025. There are two discovery motions scheduled to be heard after trial-- Plaintiff's Motion to Compel Further Responses to Request for Production of Documents (set one) on April 16, 2025 and Plaintiff's Motion to Compel Further Responses to Special Interrogatories (set one) on August 6, 2025. Plaintiff now moves ex parte to ADVANCE the hearing dates on both Motions to Compel to be heard prior to trial/the discovery cut-off date. 

Plaintiff's Ex Parte Application to Advance the Hearing Date on Plaintiff's Motions to Compel Further Responses is DENIED. The Court's congested calendar is unable to accommodate this request. The parties are not foreclosed from seeking a continuance of trial in Dept. SE-F, if necessary. The parties are encouraged to make efforts to informally resolve their discovery disputes.
